About AI Image Watermark Remover API

VidMage's AI Image Watermark Remover API is an image editing interface for removing visible text or logo watermarks. It accepts a single image URL without a selection mask and returns a processed image for review against the original. It supports cleanup workflows for images the user is authorized to edit. To clean up an image you have permission to edit, open VidMage's Image Watermark Remover.

AI Image Watermark Remover API capabilities

Single-image cleanup
Submit one image URL to request removal of visible text or logo watermarks in the source image.
Automatic region handling
Start the cleanup from the image itself without supplying a removal mask or manually selected coordinates.
Image result retrieval
Use the processed image result in a comparison view before replacing the source in your application.

What you can build

Refreshing owned catalog images

Old store watermarks can linger on product photos when a catalog is refreshed. Submit the images your shop is authorized to edit and inspect the cleaned areas, especially labels and surfaces, before choosing replacements for the current listing.

Preparing photography proofs

When an unmarked source is unavailable, a photographer can try cleaning a watermarked proof they own. A comparison with the proof helps reveal changes to faces and textures, informing whether the result is suitable for the intended delivery.

Updating presentation assets

Clean an old project watermark from an owned slide illustration before returning it to the asset library. Apply current branding separately in the presentation editor.

How to use AI Image Watermark Remover API

  1. Get an API key

Create a key in the Developer Console and store it on your server. Use it in the Authorization: Bearer header.

  2. Prepare and submit your inputs

Set up your inputs in the Playground, then copy the matching API request. Send it from your server with a unique Idempotency-Key.

  3. Track the task

Save the returned requestId and query the same operation until it completes. Keep that identifier if your app stops waiting.

  4. Retrieve the result

Read imageUrl from the completed task. Preview the result in your app and save a copy to your own storage for later use.

Input tips
Use the single-image route
The request takes imageUrl without a mask or prompt. Choose the object remover instead when your interface needs users to specify a removal region.
Inspect the surrounding detail
Compare the cleaned region with nearby text, edges, and texture at the intended display size. Preserve the original until the edited image passes review.

Input requirementsUpload local files

Task fields and results

Keep the task identifier with its original request and Idempotency-Key. Query the same capability until it completes, then read the documented result field.

Errors, retries and limits

Retry transport failures with the same idempotency key only when the original submission may not have reached the server. For a confirmed task, keep querying the original task instead of submitting a duplicate.

FAQs

Does it promise unchanged pixels outside the watermark?

The published contract gives no guarantee that pixels outside the watermark stay unchanged.

Are failed or timed-out requests charged?

A client timeout is not a confirmed task failure. Confirmed failures are automatically refunded only when the refund outcome is certain. Unknown charges or refunds remain pending reconciliation.

Failure and refund handling ↗
How long should my app wait for a result?

The checked contract does not establish a fixed completion time. Choose a local wait budget for your app; it is not an API completion deadline.

Polling and wait budgets ↗
What are the rate and concurrency limits?

Request-rate limits control how often you can call the API; concurrency limits control simultaneous work. The documentation ties both to the stable API key but does not publish numeric limits for this operation. Confirm account limits before planning parallel jobs.

Rate-limit recovery ↗
Can I receive results through a webhook?

The checked request contract documents status queries and does not list a webhook or callback field for these routes. Check the current authenticated OpenAPI contract before making a callback part of your integration.
